Regulatory

Sellers and customers on Pavo

Who sells, who refunds, how disputes work and how to report a seller.

Who is responsible for a sale

  • The seller is the seller of record. They are responsible for what they sell, their refunds, their taxes and any license their own business needs.
  • Pavo is not a party to the sale. Pavo does not sell, ship or guarantee the goods or services.
  • A real Pavo link proves the link, not the seller. Anyone who sells something can make one. How to check a pay link

Refunds and disputes

  • Refunds are the seller’s to give, under the seller’s own refund terms. Pavo may refund a payment a card issuer reports as likely fraud.
  • Card disputes run through the customer’s card issuer. A customer’s rights with their card issuer don’t depend on Pavo.
  • Chargebacks. Pavo is responsible to Stripe for chargebacks and seeks them from the seller, under Terms Section 5.9.

You can also contact your card issuer, or your state’s consumer protection office. Contacting Pavo first is not required.

Fees
